Bolsena is the largest volcanic lake in Europe; it is famous for its unpolluted water, and offers secluded beaches, swimming, windsurf, fishing and watersport activities. The churches and medieval castles of Bolsena, Montefiascone and the Island of Bisantium are witnesses to the history of the area This area is also famous for its wine and gastronomic products: lentils from Onano, red garlic from Proceno, fish and eels from the lake, wines from Orvieto and Montefiascone's "Est, Est Est!" The country house, built in typical tuscan style, is surrounded by its own three acres of land and has been furnished in keeping with umbro-tuscan tradition.
